Asian Wildlife Foundation (AWIFO) is a registered "not for profit" Trust. Its main objective is to spread awareness about the need for wildlife conservation through the medium of education.

We believe that wildlife and natural habitats can be protected long-term only if people understand the benefits of conservation to human society. This understanding has to spread through the entire population – from people living close to natural habitats to decision makers in government and the private sector.  We pay particular attention to educating children - the decision makers of tomorrow.

AWIFO has many volunteers working in different parts of India. We hope to involve enthusiasts in other countries of Asia as well.
AWIFO's activities are funded mainly through donations from its trustees, other individuals, business entities, NGOs and other agencies that care for wildlife, and support conservation.
